Inside Peek: Ad Team, Promotions Meeting

Our group is tasked with coming up with events and promotions, media selection, budget, and scheduling. For only seven of us, that is a huge task.

We met on a Sunday afternoon to have a few days to come up with our own ideas before getting together as a whole. We discussed previous ideas that were mentioned by the rest of the team to see if we wanted to expand and move forward with those. There were several ideas that were thrown around by other members that we did want to find more information about.

Any idea that we wanted to look more into had to be effective.

Within our small group, we broken into smaller groups based upon where people felt comfortable. Several people feel more comfortable with social media and strategies. Other feel more comfortable planning and buying media. Morgan and I feel more comfortable planning events and promotions.

 

Morgan and I met later for a lunch date to brainstorm about events and promotions that we could flush out that would best represent Mary Kay. We had a successful meeting and picked several strong ideas that we would present to the team at the next meeting.
