Lubbock Police Searching for Two Persons of Interest Related to a Shooting

The Metropolitian Special Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Arthur Swain and Katika Sharron Wilson, who believed to be involved in a Jan. 10 shooting, according to Lubbock police news release.

Arthur Swain is described as a 54-year-old black male, about 6-feet tall and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, according to the news release.

Katika Sharron Wilson is described as a 41-year-old black female, about 5-feet-and-4-inches tall and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

 

On Jan. 10 at about 6 p.m., officers responded to a civil disturbance in the 1500 block of 25th Street, according to the release. The Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit found that 32-year-old Calvin Joe Brown Jr. had moved Sepeda’s body.

According to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office Active Jail Roster, Brown was booked on Jan. 10 and charged with tampering with evidence, tampering with the corpse, and capital murder.

Katika Sharron Wilson, 41, is described as being about 5-feet-and-4-inches tall and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, according to the news release.

Swain and Wilson have 14 prior and two prior closed criminal cases, respectively, according to Lubbock court records.
