Granger Smith is a Texas-born country singer who is reinventing the face of country music — one hit at a time. Ashley Vaughan got to sit down with Smith when he came to Lubbock. Smith played at Wild West during his visit and Vaughan got the inside scoop on his most recent album “Dirt Road Driveway.”
His advice to aspiring artists and singers: “The one thing that turned my career towards being the front guy was me starting to record myself a lot. Get ahold of recording gear. It’s so easy to find now. Record yourself. Write, write all of the time.”
