In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Chloe Greene and Austin Laden are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.
First, one college on the Texas Tech campus has been staying busy hosting a variety of events during the spring semester. We’ll have details on the latest options on the calendar from this week, including a chance for students to pick up some free donuts or learn about a unique lab that’s merging the virtual world with reality.
Also, the Arabic Language Program is inviting students to head over to the CMLL Building each week and learn more about a culture found in dozens of countries on the other side of the world. MCTV’s Mia Fletcher stopped by the group’s most recent activity that allowed students to get creative and take home a unique keepsake.
And the Texas Tech Baseball met up with one of the top teams in the nation this week in hopes of improving their record and catching some mid-season momentum. MCTV’s Nathan Boles has a wrap up of the Red Raiders two game showdown with Arkansas in Sports.
