MCTV Newscast: 3-28

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Chloe Greene and Macy Ranzer are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.

First, social media posts by a Student Government Association senator pushed fellow members to take action, including the possibility of impeachment. We’ll have the full details on the situation, including SGA’s controversial decision regarding Senator Andrew Sinclair.

Also, it’s been a beautiful spring day on campus, but that could all change in minutes during the severe weather season. MCTV’s Elizabeth Herring shows us how several local groups took time out of their busy schedules to help educate the public on what to do when dangerous conditions head our way.

Later, the Tech Chinese Language and Culture Program is staying busy this semester by offering students weekly opportunities to learn more about a country on the other side of the world. MCTV’s Luke Johnson stopped by the CMLL building for one the most recent events that gave attendees a chance to enjoy some tasty cuisine while learning about Chinese commerce.

And the Texas Tech Baseball team is returning to the diamond today against an opponent they’ve never faced in conference competition. We’ll have a preview of Tech versus UCF along with a rundown of the latest headlines from Tech Athletics in sports.

All this and more in today’s newscast!
