MCTV Newscast: 2-8

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Austin Laden and Delaney Mooney are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, a busy week of events included some options to help students make decisions about their future.  We’ll show you how two campus groups helped Red Raiders learn about continuing their education past graduation and finding a new home away from home.  Also, if you eat on campus throughout the week and are wanting to find something new to satisfy your cravings, a weekly event may just be the alternative you need to get through hump day.  Find out what options could be available during the next Texas Tech Food Truck Festival.  Later, after a couple days of gloomy weather, the sun made a return to the South Plains area, but some big changes could be headed our way this weekend.  Weather Specialist Elisabeth Herring has the details on the possibility of a white weekend in the MCTV forecast.  And a Red Raider team continues to make headlines and move up in the national rankings as at least one competitor rises to new heights to help elevate the team.  MCTV’s Nathan Boles has the details on that story and a preview of another busy weekend for Tech Athletics in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
