In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Max Bohannon and Maecee Mainord are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, Homecoming 2023 has come and gone, but not before the Texas Tech Football Team took the field for the annual showdown at the Jones. MCTV’s Mia Fletcher has the details on this past weekend’s matchup with Kansas State, along with what’s next for the Red Raiders in Sports. Also, last week featured more than a dozen events as the university community celebrated Homecoming. We’ll have a look back at one of the last few activities that showcased Red Raider spirit and a group of students hoping to be the next ones to carry on an annual tradition. And the South Plains hosts many events around the area each weekend, including several farmers markets.
