Friday afternoon, a fire was reported at the Wiggins Complex – located just west of the Chitwood / Weymouth Residence Halls. The fire started in the kitchen area under a vent hood. The flames rose above the hood and caught the ceiling on fire. A large amount of smoke flooded the building, setting off the fire alarms. The building was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
