Contemporary Christian musician Matthew West gave a performance to a packed crowd in the City Bank Auditorium on Thursday night. The band, from Nashville, Tenn., stopped in Lubbock while on their Into the Light tour. At one point in the show, West walked into the crowd and sang an improv song about Texas Tech, his visit to Lubbock, and even what he ordered for lunch at Blue Sky.
Jason Castro and Sidewalk Prophets also performed as opening acts to the band.
