MCTV Newscast: 2-2

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Camille Jones and Julieta Ortiz are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, recent events in Minnesota have inspired people around the country to make their voice heard with in hopes of creating change.  Find out how students and local residents joined thousands of people around the country in two local “ICE Out!” protests.  Also, the weekend events calendar was a little empty, but there were a couple of options for Texas Tech students both here on campus and around town.  Find out how Red Raiders could hone their entrepreneurial skills or check out some classic cars at a unique Lubbock venue.  And Red Raider and Lady Raider Basketball were back in action over the weekend, with one team finding success while the other brought a winning streak to a halt.  MCTV’s Todd Eldridge has the details on both contests, along with a look at the latest headlines from Tech Baseball and Football in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
