MCTV Newscast: 11-24

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Abigail Foster and Elene Khajishvili are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, with the start of finals just over a week away, the campus calendar is starting to wrap up with several annual end of the semester events.  Find out how hundreds of Red Raiders received a special keepsake during a ceremony that has become an important tradition here at Texas Tech.  Also, with Thanksgiving only three days away, many people are starting to think about the day after as Black Friday officially arrives at the end of the week.  But, as MCTV’s Madilyn Coyne found out, there are some unique shopping options already popping up around the Hub City.  Later, the Thanksgiving holiday is also an indicator that final exams are around the corner.  If that has you stressing out, MCTV’s Noah McCay found out how one campus group is helping students escape stress while enjoying a step back in time.  And Texas Tech Athletics will also be celebrating the holiday this year, but not before several teams prepare for pre-Turkey Day showdowns here at home and on the road.  MCTV’s Elliott Welch has a look at the upcoming action in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
