MCTV Newscast: 11-13

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Sofia Bueno and Camille Jones are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, Veterans Day 2025 was celebrated across the United States this week, and Lubbock was no exception.  We’ll show you how Red Raiders and local residents both had the opportunity to honor those who have served our country.  Also, it may only be mid-November, but there’s just 10 class days remaining in the Fall semester.  Find out how one campus group provided students with a unique opportunity to gear up for success as they countdown to finals.  And last weekend’s hype here on campus may be hard to recreate, but Texas Tech Athletics is at least trying to re-energize Red Raider fans with five team competitions happening on campus between now and Sunday night.  MCTV Sport’s Elliott Welch has the details on which teams are on the schedule and how you can cheer them on in person right here in Lubbock.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
