MCTV Newscast: 11-10

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Elene Khajishvili and Cassandra Raucheisen are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, one of the biggest games in Texas Tech Football’s history included a level of energy and hype rarely seen in the Hub City.  MCTV’s Nathan Boles has all the details on TTU versus BYU, and we’ll have a look at a popular pregame show that made only it’s second stop at the Jones in the last 17 years.  Also, just over a week ago, the electric energy of football was replaced with a sense of fear as Halloween took over the South Plains area.  MCTV’s Avery Wolf and Elijah Farias have a final look at how local residents celebrated the haunted holiday during a not-so-spooky event and an opportunity for students to fully immerse themselves in fear.  And if the Jones was just too much for you, there were other options around the Lubbock area on Saturday, including a weekly market that provides tons of options to fill your shopping needs.  MCTV’s Madilyn Coyne took a short trip west of the city limits to discover the Wolfforth Farmers Market.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
