MCTV Newscast: 10-6

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Dayanara Beltran and Julieta Ortiz are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, the Texas Tech Football Team was back on the schedule this weekend as they faced their latest Big 12 opponent.  We’ll have the details on the Red Raiders showdown with Houston and where the team currently stands in the latest national rankings.  Also, if you were flipping through the radio dial this weekend, you may have enjoyed some additional programming from Texas Tech’s student radio station, KTXT-FM.  Find out how staff and volunteers at the station stayed up late and cranked out the tunes to join in a worldwide event.  And if coursework is a breeze for you and you’re passing all your classes but you’re still worried about being prepared for your future career, one campus department offers a series of events to help you master skills you may never learn in a classroom.  We’ll have a look at one recent activity that gave Red Raiders the chance to grab a mocktail and learn the proper way to mix and mingle.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
