MCTV Newscast: 10-20

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Elene Khajishvili and Aiden Wasson are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, the Red Raider Football Team showed up to Tempe, Arizona as one of the top 10 teams in the country, but could they maintain their unbeaten record in front of a hostile crowd?  MCTV’s Nathan Boles has the details on Saturday’s game and where the team ended up in the rankings this week.  Also, a busy weekend of events offered several options for students to stay on campus learn more about Texas Tech.  Find out how one annual event invited the university’s international population to educate Red Raiders on their culture and traditions and how a campus group is offering undergraduate students the opportunity to expand their experiences beyond the classroom.  And the Lubbock area is starting to get into the Halloween spirit as some spooky annual events begin to haunt the weekend calendar.  We’ll show you how students are enjoying the frightening fun, and let you know how you can build up some courage and stop by one terrifyingly twisted tradition.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
