“Local is hot right now,” Michael Clintsman, co-owner of Bar PM and Local bar, said in reference to the new bar’s name.
A new bar will be opening on Broadway Street across from Mesquites Sports Bar and Grill.
Page Clintsman, co-owner of Bar PM and Local Bar, said Local Bar will be Texas themed. She said it would include reclaimed bar wood, live Texas country music, and southern elevated bar food.
Michael Clintsman said Local Bar will include 40 different types of Texas beers along with Texas whiskeys, vodkas and tequilas.
Local bar is putting its name to good use. The owners are incorporating as many aspects of Texas Tech University as they can.
“All of our meats are coming from Tech Cowamongus and we are currently working with RHIM,” Michael Clintsman said.
The new bar opened their doors last Friday, just in time for the Tech vs. UT football game.
“We love the theme, we love Texas, and we just hope to see everyone out there,” Page Clintsman said.
