MCTV Newscast: 3-21

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Austin Laden and Macy Ranzer are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.

First, Spring Break has come and gone, and the Texas Tech campus is already back in the swing of things as the university calendar continues to fill up. We’ll let you know about a couple events this week that gave students a chance to meet up with a potential future employer or hear the inspiring story of a car crash victim who lived to encourage others to never give up.

Also, journalists who worked on the other side of the globe were honored at the International Cultural Center earlier this week to recognize their sacrifice as they faced oppression, persecution, and even the threat of death. Find out how one college brought their stories to light during an awards ceremony and graduate symposium.

And the brackets are set, the courts have been lit, and the action is underway in the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. MCTV’s Jade Hernandez has a preview of the Red Raiders’ debut in March Madness later this evening in Sports.

All this and more in today’s newscast!
