MCTV Newscast: 10-5

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Berkeley Adams and Krizia Williams are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, COVID-19 numbers appear to be decreasing on campus, but that doesn’t mean there’s no concern that another outbreak could still be in the university’s future.  We’ll tell you about one proposal currently being discussed that could bring an end to in-person classes sooner than expected.  Also, the Texas Tech Football Team headed north on Saturday to take on the Kansas State Wildcats.  But could the Red Raiders get back on track after a rough start in conference play?  MCTV’s Ryan Heller has a look back at that game and more in Sports.  And students looking for something to do in between classes may be finding few options on campus.  But with the Fall season in full swing, there’s several options just a short trek up the road that offer some fun diversions from class work.  MCTV’s Patricia Perry has the details on one local attraction that has been keeping Tech students entertained for almost two decades.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
