MCTV Newscast: 4-11

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Angelina Galvan and Ryan Heller are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, after an amazing season, the Red Raider Basketball Team finished with a trip to the NCAA National Championship. MCTV’s Brogan Stewart will have a look back at the game and a special ceremony to celebrate the historic team. Also, members of Texas Tech’s faculty and staff were honored for their contributions to the university during an event last week. MCTV’s Emily Effren attended the ceremony that recognized those who have gone out of their way to bring international awareness to Texas Tech. And the Easter holiday is just over a week away, and many people will be celebrating with baskets, eggs, and lots of candy. MCTV’s Mazden Bindel stopped by the SUB to find out how students are lending a hand to the Easter Bunny to help deliver a holiday surprise to some children in need.
