MCTV Newscast: 2-4

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Paige Sachse and Kristen Soza are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, a somber anniversary is being recognized in the Hub City commemorating the “day the music died”. MCTV’s Jay McCully has a look back at a special event remembering Lubbock’s favorite son. Also, with a new semester underway, many students, faculty and staff may be unfamiliar with campus resources. We’ll show you how a couple of university groups opened their doors to help educate the Tech community about all they have to offer. And another NFL season came to a close with a historic win for a storied NFL franchise and it’s star player. MCTV’s Aditya Sahasrasbudhe has a look at Super Bowl highlights as well as some big news for some Red Raiders in Sports. All this and more in today’s newscast!
