In this Fall finale edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Alma Bustamante and Avery Fenton are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, after less than a week without a head coach, Texas Tech Football has officially named the next man to lead the team. We’ll have all the details on the hire of Matt Wells. Also, there are dozens of student organizations on the Tech campus, and many of them offer opportunities to gain important skills for use after college. But one organization gives students a chance to not only improve themselves, but also the opportunity to serve their country. MCTV’s Jay McCully has an in-depth look at Texas Tech’s Army ROTC. And Texas Tech’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams continue to dominate the headlines, with both teams competing over the weekend. MCTV’s Paige Sachse will have a look at scores and highlights for both teams, as well as an update on the Red Raiders’ current standing in the national polls in Sports.
