MCTV Newscast: 10-30

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Sofia Bueno and Jasmine Khalil are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, Halloween is less than a day away, but the celebration of the spooky season has been underway at Texas Tech throughout the week.  MCTV’s Aiden Wasson recently stopped by one event that combined games, candy, and kids for a frighteningly fun evening at the SUB.  Also, the temperatures are noticeably colder this week, and that means more people are starting to feel the effects of the change in weather.  Find out how one local pharmacy provided Red Raiders the chance to build up their immunity before the flu and COVID season heats up.  And the end of the regular season is already here for one Texas Tech team, but there’s another team who’s still fighting through Big 12 play in hopes of securing a spot in the playoffs.  MCTV’s Elliott Welch has the details on both of those stories along with a look at Major League Baseball’s biggest series in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
