MCTV Newscast: 10-13

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Yemi Akinyeye and Abigail Foster are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, the Texas Tech Football Team was back at the Jones, just in time for Homecoming.  But could the Red Raiders continue their winning streak and find their way up in the polls?  MCTV’s Aiden Wasson has a look back at this past weekend’s showdown against Kansas in Sports.  Also, Homecoming week may have finished with Saturday’s game, but there were a lot of other events happening around campus to help inspire some school spirit.  Find out how one of the final events helped determine the details for the most well known of all the annual traditions.  And it’s fall here in the South Plains area, and that means that many local businesses and organizations are offering opportunities for the local community to celebrate the season.  We’ll show you how one local church is getting into the autumn action by hosting an event that has continued for more than 20 years.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
