In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Luke Johnson and Maresa Sisk are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. The Spring is nearing a close, but the weekly schedule isn’t slowing down for the Texas Tech community. We’ll bring you up to speed on the latest happenings around campus, including several recent events that gave students a chance to practice their dining etiquette or make sure their bike is in top shape as the weather begins to warm up. Also, a new option for students at the College of Media & Communication is allowing more experienced Red Raiders the chance to impart their knowledge to the some of the newest enrollees. MCTV’s Todd Eldridge has a special look at PeerCo. Later, the Texas Tech Softball and Baseball Teams were in action for mid-week competition, but only one came out on the right side of the win column. MCTV’s Jade Hernandez has the details on both matchups, along with an update on some upcoming weather-related changes to Tech Athletics’ schedule in Sports. And with the final weeks of the school year approaching, student stress is also on the rise. But as MCTV’s Allison Brock shows us, one campus group still has a full schedule of options for students to escape schoolwork each week, during the day of night.
