In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Madilyn Coyne and Elisabeth Herring are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, the West Texas area remains in the national spotlight as the number of cases of a highly contagious disease continue to increase each week. We’ll have the latest numbers from the ongoing measles outbreak and let you know if you should be concerned. Also, a Texas Tech facility on the far west side of town has become a popular spot each week for students wanting to show off some specialized skills involving a saddle, horse, and western gear. Find out how you can throw on your hat and earn some cash at the TTU Equestrian Center. And half a dozen Texas Tech teams were in action over the weekend, but some had more success than others.
