First, the recent weekend kicked off for many people by spending time with loved ones for Valentine’s Day, but there were also plenty of other options happening around the Lubbock area. Find out how students could enjoy a day long celebration of pancakes or cheer on some local athletes in a unique competition. Also, some of the coldest temperatures of the year will arrive on the South Plains in just over 24 hours, and that could lead to dangerous conditions on the Texas Tech campus. Elisabeth Herring will have the details on the arrival of this fast moving cold front and how long it will last in the MCTV forecast. And some highly ranked Texas Tech teams were in action, both on the road and here on campus, over the weekend with mixed results.
