In this Fall finale edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Nathan Boles and Elene Khajishvili are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, the last two days of classes are underway, and many students are finishing up coursework before finals start on Thursday. We’ll show you how one group of seniors headed over to the SUB to turn in the last projects of their college career while sharing their creations with the campus community. Also, there was a void in last week’s events calendar as local residents prepared for the Thanksgiving holiday. But there was at least one option available to take a break from cooking and checkout the collections of some local hobbyists. MCTV’s Macy Ranzer takes us for a spin around the Fall Model Train Show. Later, the holiday season is now in full swing, but even before Thanksgiving Break, thousands of local shoppers were already getting in the spirit during a much anticipated Lubbock tradition. MCTV’s Maranda Garcia has a look back at the 2024 edition of Holiday Happening. And football took care of many people’s entertainment needs over the recent holiday, including right here on campus at the Jones. MCTV’s Nathan Boles has a look back at Red Raider Football’s latest showdown on the gridiron, along with a wrap-up of the all the Texas Tech action on the hardwood in Sports. All this and more in today’s newscast!
