In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Elene Khajishvili and Caden Simpson are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, the spookiest time of the year is in full swing, and many Red Raiders are getting in the spirit of the frightful season. We’ll show you a couple options where students could indulge in some Halloween fun. Also, transportation on the Texas Tech campus is often a stressful issue for students trying to get to class on time. A two-wheeled option is often one of the fastest options, but with neglected maintenance, students could be putting themselves in danger. MCTV’s Jackson Greener has details on some free resources here on campus to help Red Raider bikers keep their vehicle in top condition. Later, Texas Tech Athletics only had to worry about one event on campus this weekend, but there was still plenty of Red Raider action going on around the country. MCTV’s Allie Scott has a wrap up of the latest headlines, including a look at one Tech team who enjoyed their best weekend of the season so far. And Halloween may be getting all the attention right now, but another holiday that’s popular south of the border is next in line. MCTV’s Haley Renteria has the details on an on-campus event that took place a few week’s early to give local residents the chance to remember loved ones who are no longer here. All this and more in today’s newscast!
