In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Karla Suarez and Holden Wright are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, several new additions to Memorial Circle honor the memory of Red Raiders who served our country or gave the ultimate sacrifice while defending our freedom. We’ll have a special look at last week’s ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Military & Veterans Tribute Walk and Wall of Honor. Also, the Thanksgiving break is just around the corner, and many students are already on their way home for the holiday. Find out how one campus group gave students the chance to create a cleansing keepsake before hitting the road. Later, Texas Tech Women’s Soccer continued their run in the NCAA Tournament over the weekend, leaving their mark in the history books. MCTV’s Nathan Boles has a look at soccer’s most recent showdown along with a wrap up of all the other action from the weekend in Sports. And students looking for a warm meal and a chance to interact with friends, new and old, gathered at the Student Enrichment Center last week for a pre-Thanksgiving feast.
