MCTV Newscast: 12-5

In this Fall finale edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Daquisha Houston and Alejandra Salazar are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, one of the longest running Texas Tech traditions got a huge makeover last week, just in time for one of the biggest milestones in university history.  We’ll have a look back at the 64th Annual Carol of Lights and Centennial Celebration Kickoff Ceremony.  Also, an art form that is slowly being lost to history is being resurrected by some inspired students hoping to better connect with an a popular form of technology.  MCTV’s Harper Cummings has the details on TTU Film Photography.  Later, the holiday season is officially in full swing here in the Hub City, including right here on the Texas Tech campus.  Find out how a couple of departments helped local residents get into the seasonal spirit.  And the Red Raider Football Team finally has an answer to a question that has been stirring around in most fans’ minds since the end of the regular season.  MCTV’s Faith Douglass has an answer to where the football team will be going bowling, along with a wrap up of the latest action for both basketball teams in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
