MCTV Newscast: 11-3

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Elene Khajishvili and Kiley Phillips are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, the spooky season has come to a close and the Tech campus is gearing up for the holidays.  But last week, the university celebrated with some frightful festivities open to kids young and old.  MCTV’s Noah Crayton has the details on the 2022 edition of Tech or Treat.  Also, the Student Activities Board has once again hosted a busy calendar of events, and the fun continued this week.  We’ll show you how students left the SUB Ballroom glowing after enjoying some fun activities in the dark.  Later, the Hub City was home to dozens of Halloween-themed events throughout the last month, including one unique shopping experience that showcased the creativity and ingenuity of some local entrepreneurs.  MCTV’s Sara Wiechman headed to the CASP Work Studios to see what vendors conjured up for attendees.  And Texas Tech Football had a rough weekend against Baylor, but another Red Raider team also took on the Bears in a rematch on home turf.  MCTV’s Faith Douglass has highlights from that game along with a preview of what’s coming up this weekend for Tech Athletics in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
