Also, Veterans Day was celebrated last Friday, and Texas Tech took advantage of the holiday to make a big announcement and welcome a military V.I.P. to campus. And swing dancing has made a comeback in recent years, giving a couple of Texas Tech student organizations inspiration for their biggest event of the Fall.
