MCTV Newscast: 5-2

In this Spring semester finale edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Berkeley Adams and MaKayla Glenn are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, several annual traditions took place last week, officially signaling the end of another school year.  We’ll have the details on the change out of the university’s mascots and a look at the full return of an event that helps make the Tech campus a little greener.  Also, the temperatures are on the rise, and that means more people will be using alternative forms of transportation to get across campus.  MCTV’s Chris Olivares has the details on how one campus group is making sure students on bicycles and scooters are safe and ready to get from place to place during the warmer months.  And there’s breaking news from Texas Tech Athletics after another shakeup in the leadership of one of the women’s sports programs.  MCTV’s Nathan Boles has the latest details on that story along with a look at headlines from Red Raider Basketball and Baseball in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!

Thanks for joining us for the Spring semester run of the MCTV Weekday Update.  Be sure to check back in early September for more news and information about the Tech community.
