MCTV Newscast: 3-7

In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Nathan Boles and Parker Gainey are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, a big announcement at the end of last week by Texas Tech administrators is yet another signal that the effects of the pandemic here on campus are nearing an end.  We’ll have the details on what’s changing and a look back at COVID-19 stats over the past two years.  Also, last week offered another round of events here on the Tech campus, with options to learn about student research, take a few rounds on a go kart, or gain some tips on how to live your best life.  We’ll have a look back at last week’s activities and and a preview of an event that may leave you breathing easier while enjoying the company of some furry friends.  And Rocky Johnson Field came to life this weekend as Texas Tech Softball made their long awaited debut in front of the home crowd.  MCTV’s Alejandra Salazar has a look back at this past weekend’s Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic, along with a wrap up of another busy weekend for Tech Athletics in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
