In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Berkeley Adams and Nicky Rudd are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, COVID-19 infections at Texas Tech are down and that’s leading to a big uptick in the number of events happening around campus. We’ll have a wrap-up of several options held this past week that gave students a chance to learn about the many resources and organizations the university has to offer. Also, Black History Month wraps up in just a few days, but several campus groups are still offering events and activities to bring attention to the contributions of African Americans. MCTV’s MaKayla Glenn has the details on one recent event that featured a special guest speaker who is using his infamous story to help make the world a better place for people of color. And Red Raider Baseball, Softball, and Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Track & Field are all contributing to a very busy week for Texas Tech Athletics.
