In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors MaKayla Glenn and Patricia Perry are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, after going virtual last year due to the pandemic, an annual celebration feeding Lubbock residents for decades made a return to the local events calendar. Patricia has a special look at the 70th edition of the Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival. Also, pancakes weren’t the only tasty treat being served up last week. Find out how one college invited it’s student organizations to come up with some cheesy concoctions for the chance to win top prize and help kickoff the Spring semester. And the Texas Tech Baseball Team headed to Arlington to start off their season in style while Red Raider basketball headed to Austin in hopes of completing a sweep of the Chris Beard-led Texas Longhorns.
