MCTV Newscast: 11-4

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Noah Crayton and MaKayla Glenn are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, the Texas Tech Football Team is still working to regroup after the firing of former Head Coach Matt Wells last week.  MCTV’s MaKayla Glenn talked to a local sports broadcaster and headed out on campus to get reaction and thoughts on the leadership change for the Red Raiders.  Also, Texas Tech is home to the largest collegiate rodeo in the country, and last week members of the TTU Rodeo Team put on a show for the local community.  MCTV’s Patricia Perry headed out to Cook’s Garage to get a special look at this annual event. Later, Halloween weekend wrapped up on Sunday, and the Tech community hosted several events for local residents and students to get in on the spooky fun.  MCTV’s Jama Williamson and Brice Barrett stopped by two of the campus’ final events to find out how Red Raiders celebrated the haunted holiday.  And after holding out through two OT’s, the Texas Tech Soccer Team is one game closer to a Big 12 Championship.  MCTV’s Austin Seat has a look back at the Red Raider’s first game in the tournament and a preview of what’s next for the team in Sports.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
