In this Fall finale edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Patricia Perry and Matthew Zimmerman are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, with another semester coming to an end, several big events are closing out the 2021 campus calendar. MCTV’s Brice Barrett and Jama Williamson have a look at two annual signature events that brought out the local community and showcased some of the university’s best and brightest. Also, the Fall sports season is wrapping up, with two teams finishing regular season play right after Thanksgiving. We’ll have scores and highlights from all of this past weekend’s action, and details on how one Red Raider team is making their mark in the history books. And with the holiday season in full swing, many people are busy checking off their Christmas list. And even though many local shoppers started on Black Friday, MCTV’s Regan Ranzer shows us how some area residents got a jump on the giving season during one of the Hub City’s most festive and popular shopping extravaganzas.
