In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Madison Vidales and Matthew Zimmerman are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, the start of November marks an important month for many people who have lost loved ones to an all too familiar disease. MCTV’s Patricia Perry has the personal stories of a couple of Tech students to commemorate the start of Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Also, the campus community enjoyed a week full of frighteningly fun activities in a countdown to the spookiest day of the year. MCTV’s Angelyna Gonzales stopped by the SUB last week to check out one of Texas Tech’s most popular annual Halloween traditions. And Texas Tech Football’s schedule continued with another week of Big 12 competition, but this time without former Head Coach Matt Wells at the helm. MCTV’s Malone Graham has a look back at Saturday’s game and a preview of what’s next for the Red Raiders in Sports. All this and more in today’s newscast!
