MCTV Newscast: 10-7

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Austin Garrison and Chris Olivarez are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, there’s only two days of events remaining for Homecoming Week 2021.  Find out how you can still get involved and enjoy some of the Texas Tech’s biggest traditions.  Also, with the Fall semester nearing the halfway point, many seniors are starting to consider their options before walking the stage in December.  MCTV’s Patricia Perry has the details on one recent event that gave students from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources the chance to meet with potential employers before finishing their college career.  And art has become a huge part of the Texas Tech campus, both through permanent and temporary art exhibits.  Even though most creations by students are showcased in the Art Building’s Landmark Galleries, one special group of Red Raiders recently had the chance to showcase their work off-campus during the monthly First Friday Art Trail.  MCTV’s Matthew Zimmerman has a special look at last week’s Creative Abilities Art Gallery.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
