MCTV Newscast: 10-28

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors MaKayla Glenn and Jayden Santos are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus.  First, Texas Tech Football is officially on the hunt for new leadership after the firing of Head Coach Matt Wells earlier this week.  MCTV’s Alejandra Salazar will be in with the latest details and a few names of potential replacements making the rounds through the rumor mill.  Also, Tech Football may have left fans disappointed on Saturday, but there was plenty of fun to be had at multiple events outside the stadium.  MCTV’s Reagan Ranzer got up early to join students and their parents for a special Family Weekend tailgate.  Later, a series of Tech Alert messages sent on Wednesday afternoon left more questions than answers for many members of the university community.  We’ll fill out the details regarding yesterday’s incident on Glenna Goodacre Boulevard.  And the campus events calendar has been busting at the scenes, with many departments and groups bringing back pre-pandemic favorites.  MCTV’s Patricia Perry sits down with a special guest to find out about the return of one of Tech’s most popular entertainment series.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
