In this Fall premiere edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Allison Monacelli and Regan Ranzer are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, with the Fall semester in full swing, students are hoping to have a more normal experience after the effects of COVID-19 drastically changed the college experience over the last year and half. We’ll have a look at the current state of campus as well as an announcement that could affect some in-person courses. Also, with the majority of the student body back on campus, many campus groups and organizations have returned to a regular schedule of in-person events. Find out how students had the opportunity to learn about all the university had to offer during a series information fairs. Later, the Texas Tech Red Raider Football Team put on a show in Houston over the weekend, and that’s bringing some newfound energy back to the fan base. MCTV’s Austin Seat has a look back at last week’s game and who’s up next for Tech this week. And the Tech campus isn’t the only part of the Hub City offering options for in-person entertainment.
