First, it’s been a whirlwind week in the world of Texas Tech Athletics after former head men’s basketball coach, Chris Beard, left for Austin last Thursday. But just 4 days later, the university announced a new leader for the Red Raiders. We’ll have all the details on the TTU alumnus who is taking the reigns. Also, members of the Tech community who haven’t been able to get access to the COVID-19 vaccine now have an easily accessible option on the west side of campus. Find out how you can get fully vaccinated in the month of April with a single shot. Later, the Rec Sports department is known for giving students a wide variety of athletic options to hone their skills and have some fun. But one of those options may seem a little “foreign” to many members of the campus community. MCTV’s Anakin Rayos has a special look at one intramural option that is well known outside the US and taking the campus by storm. And Texas Tech’s Baseball and Softball Teams didn’t have much luck away from home last week, but they’re both returning to the diamond here on campus for conference showdowns this weekend.
