First, news has broken regarding the week-long question of whether or not Texas Tech Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Chris Beard, will be staying with the program. We have the answer and details regarding today’s announcement. Also, the School of Theatre and Dance has been coming up with new ways to virtually showcase student skills since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out last year. And recently, performers were given a safe and creative option to showcase their creations to an in-person audience. MCTV’s Anakin Rayos has a look at this unique hybrid approach to an annual dance recital. And, the Hub City is slowly beginning to feel a lot more like normal, as COVID-19 numbers continue to drop. With that in mind, several local groups and businesses are starting to offer more in-person opportunities for area residents looking for weekend escapes.
