In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Patricia Perry and Danielle Salazar are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, after a year of unpredictability, the Texas Tech campus has announced it’s latest plans for Spring Commencement, but once again there’s some changes to the annual event. Find out when and where the ceremonies will take place and who will be involved in this year’s graduation exercises. Also, the South Plains experienced severe weather over the weekend catching some people off guard as several tornadoes touched down. But even with the uncertainty of the volatile weather conditions, there’s one group on campus working to help people think ahead and stay safe. MCTV’s Anakin Rayos has a special look at Tech’s VorTECH research facility. And the Red Raider Basketball team is getting ready to go “dancing” after being officially selected as a 6-seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament.
