In this Monday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Patricia Perry and Anakin Rayos are in studio with the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, as Texas Tech continues into it’s second semester of in-person instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic, several departments and groups are finding new ways to reincorporate face-to-face interaction into their daily operations. MCTV’s Krizia Williams stopped by the TTU Learning Center to find out what they are doing to give students more options while keeping everyone safe. Also, with so much of campus life being held in the virtual realm this year, many students are looking for ways to get connected and find some new friends. We have the details on one recent event that gave potential members a chance to connect with some of Tech’s Greek organizations. And after one of the most unusual seasons in professional sports history, the NFL capped off it’s season with Super Bowl 55. But did the game live up to expectations?
