First, Texas Tech is back open today after a huge winter storm shut down campus for more than a week and left many Texans without power for days. We’ll have a look back at last week’s historic polar plunge, and MCTV’s Madison Hartin has a look at some record-setting conditions in Weather. Also, one Texas Tech team is finally back to regularly scheduled competition after COVID-19 wiped out last year’s season. Find out how Red Raider Baseball fared in their opening weekend against 3 nationally ranked teams. And the Texas Tech Rec Center has offered a place for students to stay healthy and have some fun ever since in-person classes resumed last August, but the re-opening also brought some changes to help student’s stay safe. MCTV’s Anakin Rayos has a look at one relatively new option for students that was offered as an alternative to some traditional team sports that is taking campus by storm.
