MCTV Newscast: 11-6

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Janet Moreno and Erin Willis have an extended look at all the news and information happening on and around campus.  First, we have a quick roundup of all the political action from this week’s general elections.  Also, reporter Cody Empkey takes a look at a recent study that reveals a new addiction that is taking the student population by storm.  Does your alarm clock sound more like an air raid siren at 8 a.m.?  We’ll tell you how early morning classes may actually affect your academic abilities.  In the MCTV weathercast, Carly Smith is in studio with a look at the latest temperatures for your weekend activities.  Later, reporter Kayla Conboy took a stroll across the road to the Rec Center to find out how some freshman are working hard to avoid an extra pound or 15.  And if exercise disagrees with you and gaming is more your speed, reporter Carmen Askerneese has some information on a club that might just be calling your name.  All this and more in today’s newscast.
