The Hub@TTU – Celeb Edition

This past semester The Hub@TTU hired seven aspiring journalists and three interns, and has two returning veterans. Because we are all such rock stars, the most logical thing to do is to see which celebrities we look most like.

1. Alicia Keene 

Alicia is the Graduate Executive Director for The Hub@TTU and her doppelgänger is Andrea Bowen.

Bowen is known for her role as Julie Meyers in Desperate Housewives. She also starred in G.B.F. 

2. Sarah Self-Walbrick 

Sarah is the News Director and has a twin, and even though they don’t look alike now, the young Mara Wilson is definitely a match.

We all recognize Mara Wilson as Matilda, but she was also in the movie “Mrs. Doubtfire.” She now lives in New York City and does not act.

3. Courtney Bier 

Courtney was hired to be the Social Media Director this coming fall and her celebrity match will make you jealous.

Cate Blanchett is an Academy Award-winning actress and is known for her role as Galadriel in “The Lord of the Rings.”

4. Erin Willis

I will be joining the team as the Entertainment Director and my look-alike is Danielle Panabaker.

Danielle was a child actress for Disney and took part in a few small roles and now is acting in small roles for Law and Order and many other televisions shows.

5. Anibal Galindo

Anibal is the Video Production Manager this fall and his fashion-forward celebrity twin is Narciso Rodriquez.

6. Haley Ostrander

Haley joins The Hub@TTU staff as the Advertising Director. Her doppelgänger is a model, so that means we are all jealous.

Petra is from the Czech Republic and was the 2003 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover and also modeled for Victoria’s Secret.

7. Jeff Bunnell

Jeff will be the new investigative reporter for The Hub@TTU and you can probably guess who his celebrity match is at first glance.

Michael Cera made his debut in Arrested Development and has had several funny on-screen appearances since.

8. Lucinda Holt

Lucinda is the Enterprise Editor and even does free-lance work for The New York Times. Her doppelgänger wishes she was that awesome.

Eva Longoria is best known for her role in Desperate Housewives as Gabriel.

9. Julien Demers

Julien will be joining The Hub@TTU as the Media Industry Content Director. His celebrity match is Zac Efron.

Zac Efron began as an off-stage actor but hit it big when he was in Disney’s “High School Musical.” Mostly, Efron is known for his bigger roles in “Hairspray” and “17 Again.”

We can’t forget the apprentices. They are a new addition to The Hub@TTU this semester.

10. Griffin Kimble

Griffin will be apprenticing with Courtney, the Social Media Director. Her celebrity twin is Arielle Kebbel.

Arielle Kebbel is probably best known for her role in “American Pie Presents: Band Camp.” She was also in “Aquamarine” and “John Tucker Must Die.”

11. Nicole Crites 

Nicole will be apprenticing with me this fall and her celebrity look-alike is Camille Anderson.

Camille Anderson was in the movie “Wedding Crashers” and is known for her modeling and covers on big name magazines.

12. Halima Fasasi

Halima will be the apprentice for Sarah Self-Walbrick, News Director of The Hub@TTU. Halima’s celebrity twin is beginning to get more recognition and for a good reason.
