MCTV Newscast: 11-17

In this Thursday edition of the MCTV Weekday Update, anchors Jay McCully and Mathilde Nalliod have the latest news, information and events happening around campus. First, the family of a missing Tech student was given some hope this week after an announcement from the Lubbock Police Department.  We have the latest developments in this ongoing story.  Also, with the Thanksgiving holiday only a week away, one campus group is giving the Tech community a chance to help out those in need.  Find out how you can help make someone’s holiday season a little brighter.  And in West Texas, cotton is king, but some farmers are finding an alternative that is giving cotton a run for the money.  Reporter Laura Duclos travelled to Plains, TX to see how this new crop is changing the landscape of agriculture on the South Plains.  All this and more in today’s newscast!
